A credit score is a number that estimates how likely you are to repay borrowed money on time. It is calculated from the information in your credit report, which records your loans, credit cards, and payment history.Kredi notu, aldığınız borcu zamanında ödeme olasılığınızı tahmin eden bir sayıdır. Kredilerinizi, kredi kartlarınızı ve ödeme geçmişinizi kaydeden kredi raporunuzdaki bilgilerden hesaplanır.
Lenders use it to decide whether to lend to you and at what interest rate. A higher score generally means lower risk for the lender, which can lead to easier approval and cheaper borrowing.
Scoring systems differ by country. In the United States, common scores run from 300 to 850. In Turkey, the Findeks score from the Credit Bureau (KKB) runs from 1 to 1,900. Higher is better in both, but the ranges and rules are different.
Your score is not a judgment of your character or income. It is a snapshot of your borrowing history, and it can change as your habits change.
